Pimping out an other friend
Hey guys, so today I'll be talking to you about my friend Lindsey Krohn, author of the book Rough l i f e. She is really awesome, and I think that if you have the time, you should really check out her book which is up for free on Wattpad.
Here's the synopsis
In the year 5011 In a dystopian Tokyo, where, technology has ten times advanced and cultures live among the united states... a fourteen year old boy named Cyson, is barely surviving with his trusty, Rottweiler beside him. As Cyson goes about on the thick glass roads, he finds friends, and a new love, but things take a turn to the worse when he hits a new path in his life that may make or break him... he finds new enemies to defeat, but suffers unbearable losses; with that, it leads him into revenge. Will Cyson survive among the dangers that he faces ahead of him? Will he seek retribution?
It's got a few grammatical errors, but if you can look past those (because we all make them) than you should really give this story a try. Lindsey is currently working on the sequel, Breaking a w a y. She is also working on a couple of short stories too, Really, give her work a looksee :D

A name you're going to have to look out for, and a name that's already out there
My fellow indie author Linda Bloodworth is working on quite the fantastic novel right now. I won't give any details about her book away, but let me tell you she is a hard working and dedicated authoress and you need to remember her name because you will very much want to read her book. I am about a third of the way done (I'm book hopping as usual, I read multiple books at once and switch when I feel so inclined) and I honestly don't want to finish it because...well then I'll have to wait for more! The suspense! So remember guys, keep your eyes open for the name Linda Bloodworth.
An other indie author I have the pleasure of knowing is Sentu Taylor, author of Gangpire, an urban vampire story. It's a dark, gory book with humour that rivals some of the best comics. It is so different and wonderful; I implore you to check it out! Here's the synopsis as taken from Amazon:
"Life has never been a walk in the park for Tacoma. With a crack addict as a mother, and no father, he has been responsible to take care of his little sister Seattle since he was nine, while living in one of East Oakland's most notorious drug and gang infested neighborhoods. Every day is a struggle; they're forced to steal food, and have to rely on their street wits to survive. Lucky for them, Tacoma's best friend Raider's grandmother, Mama Marcella, shields them from getting detected by Social Services.
Tragedy strikes one fateful day when Tacoma asks Raider to pick Seattle up from school. But Raider forgets, and Seattle never makes it home. Tacoma's world shatters around him, and he vows to wreak violent revenge on those responsible for her disappearance. But they are only teenage boys, and no match to fight Seattle's powerful abductors.
Raider has an idea. With the help of an ancient Santeria book he stole from his grandmother, he turns both of them into vampires.
Their bloody journey to save Seattle takes them deep into the corrupt underworld of the Oakland police force, secret FBI task forces, a beautiful scientist, and death.
As the two unleash their newly acquired powers, things get quickly out of control. Tacoma and Raider turn their friends into vampires to help them fight against powerful enemies, and together they leave a trail of dead bodies along the entire West Coast.
Follow Tacoma on his desperate quest to find his sister, while spiraling deep into the world of an escalating vampire war…"
So, there it is! Two people who you want to keep up in your old brain because they totally rock!!! Of course, I have many more indie author friends that I will be promoting, so don't think I've forgotten you guys!
